Straub's radiologists offer a wide range of services, from simple x-rays to complicated interventional radiological procedures. The department operates an MRI unit, a CT scanner, two ultrasound units, several federally certified mammography units and a comprehensive angiography suite for imaging arteries and veins. We have the most up-to-date stereotactic breast biopsy system in the state. Certified mammography and X-ray units are also located at Straub's satellite clinic locations. Our staff is available to perform a wide variety of vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures including: diagnostic angiography, venus evaluation of pelvic congestion syndrome, embolization of uterine fibroids, stenting of occluded arteries or veins. We have a fully trained neuroradiologist and the only fully certified occupational medicine film reader (B Reader) working out of the state of Hawai‘i. Straub's radiologists cover the full range of subspecialties within radiology. We have three fully trained interventional radiologists, each having earned a Certificate of Added Qualifications.
